The rhythm is starting to look a little better. I made the whole thing narrower, and even more so the rounds: bdpqag. From there one, some fine-tuning. The z is probably too crazy!

I am unsure about the ‘e’. For shapes like these, that I am not immediately solving, I might go back to the sketchbook and try to apply the form principles manually to the shape. How does the dynamic/static opposing sides play out in this shape?
